10 Shifts That Will Happen in 2025

As we mark the start of 2025, we can consider ten prophetic markers for the new year. These markers provide a mix of encouragement and foreboding, all of which trend toward the biblically foretold end times.

Here are ten key prophetic markers in 2025 as I see them unfolding:

1. A Battle Between Chaos and Order

God’s ways always tend toward order, whereas Satan’s ways tend toward chaos. While this battle between good and evil has lasted since the fall of a third of the angels, the culmination of these spiritual battles will occur in 2025. The Apostle Paul wrote that the time before the “End of Days” would be “perilous” and full of unrelenting human depravity and lawlessness (2 Tim. 3:1-5).

A temporary respite will occur in America following the 2024 U.S. presidential election, causing order within the U.S., but the rest of the world will face continued chaos. Two regional dynamics will exist: one being the order and prosperity of democratically controlled nations who support freedom of religion, and the other being the disorder of nations governed through authoritarian regimes which suppress Christianity. Believers should brace for a more divided world that favors God’s glory being poured over areas where people begin worshipping the God of Yeshua (Jesus) together.

2. A Shift in the Middle East Against Israel

Recently Damascus, the oldest surviving capital in history, realized the overthrow of the fifty-year reign of Bashar al-Assad. Syria’s new leader is Ahmad al-Sharaa, the leader of HTS, an al-Qaida-based armed group that toppled al-Assad. Previously Syria functioned as a secular state without basing its laws on Islam. The new government will further shift the Middle East as another Islamic state emerges, causing Israel to be even more isolated. The Bible tells us in the end times that Israel would be isolated and ultimately this small nation would be attacked from its neighbor to the north. Lebanon to the north of Israel had traditionally been seen by Syria as part of Greater Syria. A strengthened and more Islamic Syrian government will make it easier for Iran to transfer weapons to Hezbollah north of Israel, triggering a prophetic marker toward the fulfillment of end times attacks prophesied in Ezekiel 37 and 38. Look for a temporary peace settlement orchestrated by the U.S., followed by covert war preparations in 2025 that will materialize in the coming years.

3. A Call to Unite the Body of Christ

God is calling for unity among believers in 2025, challenging the church to rise above denominational divides. Matthew 12:25, Mark 3:25, and Luke 11:17 all implicitly state that a divided Body will fail. This explains the decrease in church attendance and a growing population who describe themselves as “non-Christian.” We can no longer afford to place human-made doctrines above Bible-centered truths. God is calling His devoted followers to unite as a family, with Jesus Christ as the Head.

4. Wokeism vs. True Deception

The method of deception used by God’s enemies operates most effectively when cloaked in secrecy. Although wokeism has been exposed, the true erosion of culture is not on display. Consider that 55% of Americans describe themselves as horror fans, including 91% of Gen Z. A study found that 75% of Disney films and 44% of after-school animations contained “evil” references. These modalities desensitize people, especially youngsters, to the demonic. Normalizing paganism is the modus operandi of cultural influencers. The Bible says that Satan comes as an “angel of light.” Tarot cards for kids are available through national chains. This permits people to say that they are “spiritual” while divorcing themselves from God’s true Spirit. Unless the church exposes these deceptions, their children will continue to be tricked into adopting a form of godliness devoid of truth. Expect an all-out spiritual warfare as those wise in the Spirit of God expose the hidden realms of darkness with the Light of Truth.

5. The Impartation of Heaven on Earth

Why has God used Randy Kay Ministries and other outlets to share an unprecedented number of Christ-honoring afterlife experiences, both in Heaven and in hell? God is readying the church for revival by imparting the truths of Heaven to a remnant body of believers so they can practice the things of Heaven on earth. A record number of true Heaven encounters will have been released in 2025 to accomplish the task that God made clear to me (Randy Kay) three years ago to “take back the narrative.” Our stories have revealed the truths of Heaven in comparison to the deceptions offered by universalist and New Age believers that previously dominated this space of NDE (Near-Death-Experience) and afterlife experiences. Another expression of the “taking back the narrative” term that God used includes the church’s dismissal and denial of these true stories in years past. Churches rarely mention Heaven, let alone give voice to the testimonies of afterlife survivors. This even though millions have come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through these Heaven (and hell) testimonies. God’s release of these stories represents quite possibly the greatest advent of Heaven’s release of God’s glory in history. So, expect church bodies who share these Christ-honoring stories to be greatly blessed with revival going forward.
